Recently, the Chinese national standard GB/T 2820.5—2025 / ISO 8528-5:2022, Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine Driven Alternating Current Generating Sets – Part 5: Generating Sets, was officially released.
The standard was proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association and is administered by the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Mobile Electric Stations (SAC/TC 329). YingTai was one of the organizations involved in drafting the standard, contributing its technical experience and practical knowledge to the development of the generator set industry.
The new standard replaces GB/T 2820.5—2009 and is aligned with ISO 8528-5:2022, providing updated technical guidance for the design, manufacturing, testing, and performance evaluation of generating sets.
